Doritos Party Featuring Black Eyed Peas
Where’s the party at?
MindSmack.com was contracted to design and develop this high-impact flash website complete with After Effects video animation and a media player that showcases the awesome FLAVOR TRIP video. MindSmack’s Chief Creative Officer, Marcelo Moyano, along with senior animator Mike Feuer, handcrafted all of the animation and effects seen in all of the videos.
We have edited and animated all of the video for Fergie, Will i am, Taboo and Apl.de.Ap so they have a cool flow of animation and effects for each and are consistent with the site feel.
The Doritos product is the coolest and tastiest imaginable. You have to experience it to believe how awesome this flavor trip chip actually is!
This was a truly exciting project since there was so much room to explore ideas and demonstrate creativity. The team we put together for this project has won countless major awards including FWA awards and Macromedia (now Adobe) Site of the Day awards.

The Invention Band Website
Design by Stylefrog Creative
Software Used: Flash Pro 8
Photoshop 7
Sonic Foundry Sound Forge 6
The brief was to work up a mini site which echoed the feel of the band's music, while also being informative and original at the same time.
The band wanted to be able to update latest gig information, also to offer an email sign up option to build a fan contact list.
The band have a very unique, raw indie style, which was visualised with torn paper, rough edges and montaged imagery.
Lounge Lizard
Design by Lounge Lizard
Software Used: Flash
The loungelizard.com Website is an interactive experiance that breaks all rules of conventional navigation. The site was designed from the POV of a person sitting at a bar. The eser then interacts with natural bar elements such as coasters to navigate to different sections of the bar. There the user interacts with Interactive devices to view the companies creative such as a book that flips pages, an interactive plasma screen, an "old school" like arcade game interface. To contact Lounge Lizard simply click on the pack of matches and a napkin appears on the bar. Users fill outthe napkin and as they type handwritin appears. One of the most engaging features of the site is the candle on the homepage. You can blow out the flame. AND re-light it. Also notice how each coaster is individually designed. What looks like photographs on the bar are actually ultra-realistic illustrations.
